A fast update for a change to the pledge manager for international backers
i have added the cost of the reward shipping to the pledge manager so they can be paid at the time you do your survey and will not need to be paid through paypal any longer.
I will be sending surveys out to another 5% to test the shipping changes I just made

Pledge manager, Production, and Addon Shipping fees

I hope everyone is well and will continue to do well in these trying times.
The Pledge Manager
The Backerkit pledge manager will soon be ready, it has to be reviewed by Backerkit staff to make sure all the needed tasks are done and I haven't forgotten anything important. As long as everything is good then the surveys go out to a random 5% of backers for a "smoke test" in order find any problems early, after that everyone will receive an email with their backerkit invite link.
Production
1 ton of metal showed up at my door last week so the coin production can start this week.
The card production may start this week also, I need to first make sure that the factory is still open and printing orders as things are changing rapidly with state business closings.
The booklets will be changed to 1 coil bound book since even though the cost is a bit more the quality and ease of use make up for it so I made the decision to go with the upgrade.

The front cover design isn't final and is not a proper printed cover yet it is just a non glossy paper mock up for the picture.
The cover is just a test print and will probably change a bit
Coin only rewards
Many have asked if the coin only rewards will be able to ship early if ready before the book and cards and the answer is yes.
If the coins are ready to ship before the card and book printing is ready they will ship to the coin only backers, this will probably only happen if there is a delay in the printing since the printing is usually a bit faster than the coin production. also if the coin production goes extremely smooth that may allow the coin only rewards to ship early, I will know a lot more about the printing schedule this coming week.
Pledge manager addon and shipping costs
All existing backers will have addons or extra sets priced the same as the Kickstarter was, late backers or preorders will have a higher cost so if you are not logged into Backerkit you may see the higher cost. keep this in mind if anyone (friend etc..) asks you a reward price that they will not see the same price as you do.
I have tried to get accurate shipping costs for the pledge manager addons and I can explain them a bit better here.
USA Shipping
Existing USA backers have no extra shipping cost for addons or extra sets since the flat rate USPS priority boxes shipping that was paid with Kickstarter will cover any addons or extra sets.
USA Preorder backers will be charged shipping based upon the weight of the order 1oz to 8oz for $6, 9oz to 4 pounds for $10 and then $16 for 4 pounds and over.
Canada Shipping
If Existing Canada backes do not get addons or extra sets I will invoice them the shipping through paypal, if they get any extras they will pay the shipping through Backerkit.
Major Arcana or Suit sets will be $14 shipping since they are under 8oz, coin sets or coin,card and book sets will be $24 shipping since they are from 9oz to 2 pounds.
The full rates for Canada is below, it increases for every pound but after 4 pounds it goes to a flat rate box of up to 10 pounds then up to 20 pounds.

End of the shipping rate charts (finally)
That was a lot of shipping info but I wanted to get everyone some rates, the international shipping is a bit steep but once it gets above 4 pounds I have to ship it in a flat rate box that is the same price for up to 10 and 20 pounds. I don't understand how the USPS will ship 2 pounds for $35 ($17.50 per pound) but then ships 20 pounds for $95 ($4.75 per pound).

Project status update

Hi
Thanks again to all the backers for getting this project started.
First of all I hope everyone is well and is weathering the current worldwide virus outbreak, with every country in the world working on a treatment or vaccine I am hoping on a very speedy solution.
Delivery Date
When I launched this project I took a lesson I learned from my Goetia coins project and made sure my fulfillment date was far in advance in case I had many more backers than expected or large changes to be made. Setting the date for February of 2021 is a bit longer then I should need so hopefully since some delays are already built into the shipment date I do not have to change it. Keep in mind that between now and February 2021 that can change.
Metal Supply
At this time I do not have all the metal that is needed for casting the coins, it will be ready to be shipped this coming week. If my metal supplier is ordered to close by the state then that will delay delivery until they are allowed to open up again. Since I need about 3000 pounds of metal it needed to be alloyed and since they supply many different compositions they don't keep 3000 pounds of each in stock they alloy them as needed. I will post a quick update when the metal is shipped.
Card and Book Printing
My card and book printer is located in the US and is still open and printing orders but I do not plan to get the cards printed until the book is ready so there is no change needed there..
Goetia - The Card Game + full set of metal Demon Seal coins
My UK shipping partner has launched a Goetia coin project that I am making the coins for and doing his USA fulfillment and since he is based in the UK he will be doing all the UK/EU fulfillment himself.
To all the backers that have asked about the availability of my previous Goetia coin project I'm sorry I couldn't tell you about his project until it was ready.

Thanks to all 790 backers that have given this project a success launch.
Don't let the 65,000 coin number scare you, I made over 300,000 coins for my Coins of the Goetia project, I just start at the beginning and go from there.
These coins take a bit longer to produce since every coin has is antiqued and then finished by hand to get that great look you see in the project pictures and on my Ancient Zodiac coins if you have a set of those.
I will be using backerkit as a pledge manager so it will still be a bit of time until I get that setup, tested, and launched, once its launched then the survey can be completed and it will have all the different components as addons so you will be able to add whatever number of set components (books, coins, decks) you need.
I will have a better idea of the fulfillment times when production gets started, which is very soon since there is no coin size increase needed which means the master coins and master molds are already done.

Hi I hope everyone is doing well.
I want to thank all the backers who have made my Coins of the Tarot project launch so successful, I truly appreciate the response so far and especially today when I received an e-mail that my Coins of the Tarot has been selected by Kickstarter as a PROJECT WE LOVE.
I explained a bit about the round coin drawing in a message today and I thought I should add this info to the update.
I did make the backs symmetrical so they could be drawn not only upright or reversed but in any position leading to upright or reversed, for example a coin could be on its way to be reversed or on its way to not being reversed, if using a clock dial as a reference with 12 o'clock being upright and 6 o'clock being reversed a coin in the 3 o'clock position would be half way to being reversed but a coin in the 5 o'clock position would be almost reversed and a coin in the 8 o'clock position would be almost not reversed (I'm sorry I have a hard time explaining things sometimes) but this 12 point clock dial can help to bring more clarity if incorporated in your readings.
Another message response that I thought I should add to the update.
I will have a pledge manager with all the different components as addons so you will be able to add whatever number of set components (books, coins, decks) you need.
